Women of Worth (WOW)
is a proudly South African lifestyle brand and social enterprise. We create beautiful handmade products including jewellery, apparel, and gifting items that represent empowerment and dignity. Every item is a celebration of womanhood, resilience, and craftsmanship
Founded in 2020, WOW operates through two interlinked legal entities:
WOW Academy NPC, which delivers our mission-driven training programs, and
WOW ZA (Pty) Ltd, which creates revenue-generating products and services to employ and support trained women.
Together, they form a sustainable empowerment model with impact at its core.
Mission Alignment
The mission of WOW ZA’s business plan is rooted entirely in the vision of WOW Academy NPC: to empower South African women – especially youth and underserved communities – through practical training, mentorship, and entrepreneurial support. Every product, service, and commercial venture undertaken by the Pty Ltd directly supports and advances the goals of the NPC.

Every product is designed and created by women who have completed training through WOW Academy NPC. Our team members are not only artisans but also brand ambassadors and community leaders. We also offer collaborative design and production services for clients who wish to manufacture locally with social impact
Trainee Success Story: Zanele’s Journey
Zanele, a young mother from Khayelitsha, enrolled in WOW Academy’s jewelry-making training in 2023. Despite never having worked in a formal job, she completed the program and was hired by WOW ZA (Pty) Ltd to produce items for Table Mountain. She now earns a stable income, leads a small team of new trainees, and is planning to open her own jewelry kiosk with WOW’s support. Her story is one of many that reflect the transformative impact of our model.
